Pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia University project ‘Hind’s Hall forever’ on Hamilton Hall

Pro-Palestine protesters gathered outside Columbia University in New York on Thursday and projected “Hind’s Hall forever” on the Hamilton Hall building.

Earlier, student protesters had taken over the Hamilton Hall building and unofficially renamed it to Hind’s Hall, after 6-year-old Hind Rajab, a Palestinian girl who was killed along with her family in Gaza in January.

Police violently dispersed the protests at Columbia University and arrested around 200 protesters on early Wednesday, nearly two weeks after students had set up a pro-Palestine encampment demanding for the university to divest from companies that could be involved with Israel’s occupation of Palestine and war on Gaza.
