rain x water repellent is the best glass treatment

If you read the instructions it says to clean the glass, let it dry, spray Rain X onto a cloth, rub it in with small circles, let it dry to a haze, apply another coat by spraying it onto a cloth and rubbing it in, letting it dry again to a haze, then wiping it all off with a dry lint free cloth.

The guy in this vid did it wrong, and anyone who says it looks like crap did it wrong too. The stuff works perfect if used right. Reading is important.

Awful for me. Didn’t bead much and left a streaky film. And, Unfortunately the liquid form in the yellow plastic bottle isn’t the same formulation as prior that always worked great for new. Seeking alternatives.

You’re also so supposed to put it on your microfibre towel, not straight onto the window

Rain X is the cheaper end of the market. There’s plenty better but they take more effort.

I did the same thing like you did and I also had the same bottle it don’t work for my window
