This is a blind taste test to see which brand has the best Swiss Cake Rolls: Hostess, Little Debbie or Great Value.
* Hostess Ho Hos – 10 cakes per box $2.98 at Walmart 120 calories each (10 oz. box)
* Little Debbie Swiss Rolls – 12 cakes per box $1.50 at Walmart 135 calories each (13 oz. box)
* Great Value Swiss Rolls 12 cakes per box $1.48 at Walmart 125 calories each (13 oz. box)

I've never cared for Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. I was raised on Ho Ho's, but since Hostess changed ownership it just isn't the same. I'll have to try Great Value. Your test was very fair.

I’m guessing since this video was made and today Great Value changed. I bought them yesterday based on this video and there is hardly any cream in them. They don’t taste any different then the Mrs. Freshlys you can buy at Dollar Tree.

Have you tried the Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake rolls? Those are my favorite! They have white chocolate on the bottom. I love Swiss Rolls so I'll pick up some of the Great Value brand!

I love Little Debbie's Swiss rolls! Try the swiss rolls frozen, they taste so much better with the cream having an ice cream like texture to it. Thanks for making this video! I enjoyed watching it even though its a year old. lol :)

I just got these today and I agree. Great Value was surprisingly good and I'm a fan of most of Little Debbie products.

I have a feeling whoever was in charge of the knock off version had one goal - Taste better than Little Debbie.

I agree, having tried both the Little Debbie and Hostess snack rolls in the past.. Little Debbies taste much better and cost less than Hostess. As far as the Great value, I haven't ever tried them but I'm sure they must be competitively priced with Little Debbies and from what they said they must taste pretty good, too. Nice job on the comparison test!

I too like the Great value brand. the peanut butter bars are reallly good too. Plus your mom is beautiful and has a really cool accent! Great vid!
