Red Bull's show run with old F1 cars at the Nurburgring Nordschleife won't feature the team's current star driver. Despite Sebastian Vettel returning to drive one of his championship winning cars and current third driver Daniel Ricciardo also taking part, Verstappen has been denied the chance to take part.

I would love to see them take a 2020 or 2021 spec car around it. I understand why they use v8’s for most show runs, but this is really special and it would be sick if they broke the lap record.

Marko's stance is understandable. He also once blocked Seb when he still in RBR from swapping his F1 car to MotoGP with a German MotoGP racer. This was in 2010-2012 if i'm not mistaken

If Max were to ever race at the Nürburgring, he should probably do it in his championship winning RB16B. I'm not sure how well the Venturi-Tunnels on the RB18 and RB19 mix with the Green Hell.
