Sorry Carole thumbs down 👎. That wall paper is beautiful pattern but it seems to make the room look smaller. I like th green then off white but not the bottom portion.

Im liking all the paint and techniques. That said my screen makes the bottom looked more a weird brown without any green. 😢 so im just enjoying you and all your work since you can see its true color 💚💛

Don’t like any of it. It makes the house look old fashioned. This is not a chateau. It’s a beautiful house in the countryside.
I would go with more of an organic, natural look. Less gold and chandeliers.

I don't understand the narrow stripes between the panels, and a completely different color and pattern around the bottom. Guess I better watch the last episode to better understand. I loved what you did in the chateau but this is new architecture and I hope you can achieve updated elegance with your new home.

I absolutely loved the green on the leaf part of the wallpaper! Not sure about the bottom brown gold. The colors may not be anywhere close to actual on my screen though. I know when you pull it all together it will look nice. I don’t like the painted top part of the wall. It comes across as dark taupe on my screen. Still I can wait until you show us the finished room. And what we think really doesn’t matter, it’s your home and what makes you and your family happy is all that counts. You have always had good taste in decorating your home

Not a fan way too much going with the different textures of the paper, the paint colors, chair rail. Less is more. Use some of those features somewhere else the house.

I think the only thing that matters is if you like it Carole. I’m more interested in the technique to achieve this look because you can always choose a different color for your own home. I just want to see the process. I hope you keep it if you like it and not let the naysayers influence you. Just my opinion.
