The 10 commandments were not Moses Law for it was not written by Moses. Moses received the 10 commandments that were written on tables of stone by God Himself.

Pastor Jennings, I find many of your sermons very enlightening and in harmony with the scriptures ; but your teachings regarding the Sabbath are leading people away from God. There is no doctrine in the Bible that is more clear and more firmly established than God's holy Sabbath day . In all of the Bible, including both the old and new testaments, there is "ONLY ONE" weekly Sabbath day that is ever mentioned. And this weekly holy day (the seventh day), God has commanded us to "Remember" and to keep it holy. Now, you can choose not to do what God tells you ; but you are transgressing the Law of God and the Bible calls that sin. In Luke 4:16, we see that it was the custom of Jesus to go into the synagogue to worship on the Sabbath day. Then, in Matt 5:17, Jesus says " For assuredly I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled." Nowhere in the scriptures did God's people ever change their worship from the seventh day to the first day (Sunday) of the week. Many years after Jesus ascended to heaven, both Jew and Gentile Christians were still worshiping on the seventh day ( See Acts 13:14, Acts 16:13, Acts 17:2, and Acts 18:4 ). There are also many scriptures that emphasize the importance of keeping God's commandments such as the following : In Rev 14:12, God's people are specifically identified as " those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." Then we can go to Rev 22:14 and we read " Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." I'm really amazed that so many people just ignore God's holy Sabbath day, because the Scripture says "His commandments are not burdensome" ( 1 Jn 5:3). We're told that the Devil deceives the whole world (Rev 12:9) and "All who dwell on the earth will worship the beast, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb...." We know that God desires to save everyone but, sadly, most will be lost because they will choose to go their own way and follow the crowd. I'll admit that God's holy Sabbath (the seventh day) is not a popular day to worship for most professed Christians ; but we have our marching orders from the Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer of life to follow that narrow road that leads to life. And we know that the only unforgiveable sin is that sin which we are not willing to give up . I John 1:9 assures us that " If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." May we all seek to glorify God by keeping His commanfments and reflecting the character of our Lord and Saviour. It's my prayer that all people will repent and choose to follow the Lamb ! As the saying goes " This life will soon be past and only what we do for Christ will last !"

The fact Pastor recognizes that the catholics claim authority to change the day should be a red flag and magnify the importance of the Sabbath - a seal or mark that links God to his true servants.

Matthew 5:17 - "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."

The Sabbath was kept since Adam and Eve were created. This is why the bible says, God rested on the sabbath day and hollowed it or set it apart for a purpose. He wanted man to keep it.
