Here's what I think Euroleague needs to do to create a better, more pure league that is more exciting and intoxicating for the fans:

1. Use a solid orange basketball. Enough of this ugly striped basketball that little kids play with. Get a real basketball. One color. No stripes.

2. Get rid of the advertisements on the court and the jerseys. Put advertisements anywhere else, just keep them off of the court and the jerseys. Ads on the court and jerseys make it look cluttered and make it seem like the fans are rooting for companies, not teams. If you must get rid of only one, get rid of the advertisements on the court. A big part of basketball is uniting around one set of colors, one logo, one team identity. When your court is cluttered with ads that are a different color than your team colors, it INTERRUPTS the unity of message. It INTERRUPTS the harmony of the color scheme.
