I especially appreciate the last comment regarding the beratement of overweight/obese people by those in our society who do not suffer from the biologic drivers of obesity. Thank you for your great work in the area of leptin, overweight/obesity and its biologic causes.

Hey Raz,

IMO Mark Sisson's promoting nutrient dense foods is the only major advantage of what he advocates. "Paleo", however, is unnecessary as many non-paleo foods are also nutrient dense.

I think A. Colpo is correct that calorie restriction can control body fat, but that doesn't explain what causes obesity. It's like saying alcohol restriction controls alcoholism, but such measures are worthless at explaining the cause.

Dr. Friedman's work completely discredits Internet scammer Anthony Colpo. Thanks for posting this video.

With very few exceptions, obesity requires ad libitum eating. Genetics explains the difference in how an organism responds to the ability to eat ad lib. Limiting eating to discrete time periods with sufficient periods on non-eating between can prevent and reverse obesity by allowing insulin levels to drop and body fat to be burned.
