The R-41M speakers emit an impressive sound for their size. The bass is about what you'd expect from 4-inch woofers. The mids are clear without being harsh and the high frequencies are crisp.

However, I do have to point out incorrect and misleading information in this review. The R-41M speakers DO NOT have a 3.5mm input or RCA (phono) inputs, nor do they come with any cables. They only have binding posts for banana plugs or bare wire. The R-41PM model ('P' for 'powered') has those features. At 2:11 is a view of the back of both models, with the R-41M on the left.
