His arm wasn’t even near his side. If his hand doesn’t make contact, that might have gone in.

Well, UEFA just admitted it should’ve been given 🤷🏻.

I'm rooting for spain but that was a 1000% clear handball.

I call bs on that. 1000% handball. It clearly disrupted the shot on goal from Musiala. Shit referee, He won’t sleep safely anymore for the next years

If it was Argentine vs Spain
I swear that would be clear penalty
They have done a lot in Qatar WC

This is the most straightforward hand penalty call there is, other than an intentional handball.

As a German, curcurella is one of the the most hated guys in Germany right now because we all had a dream

You are wrong kid the law states the body needs to be near the body or as they put it the extremities need to be on or near the torso regardless of how the torso is at the moment. That’s 100% a penalty

When a player stops a goal, with his hand, that is extended out, it is not right.
This kind of hand ball should clearly be forbidden.

I know about the directive, but could we have clear rules?
If I were a manager, I would tell all my players to stand like Cucu in the box 😅

Don't do drugs. This is what you become.

You can repeat that nonsense until you're blue in your face, it doesn't make it so. His arm was not on his side, nor traveling to his body, he was looking at the shooter and ball and blocked it intentionally..

I'm German and obviously I wanted Germany to win, but still I can see why this might have not been a penalty.
What pisses me off - and I've said it many times before - is the fact that such crucial situation cannot be reviewed, unless it was a clear and obvious mistake.

If the ref had a chance to look at it again and still said "nope, that's not a penalty, I'd be completely ok with it, but the fact that situations like this can't be reviewed is one of the dumbest rules in all of sports

There was an offside before the position. That number #9 of Germany was on offside position before receiving the ball and passing the ball to Musiala to take the shot. Rewatch the 112:50 where it shows the replay at perfect angle.

Look at the defender to the left of Marc Cucurella. He put his hands behind his back, like it should be. Cucurella on the contrary literally flapped like a bird when trying to block the shot. Look at a slowmo video of the situation and you will see.

This kid dosent know what he is talking about. The penalty didn’t go through because the play beforehand was offside. If it wasn’t it would be a penalty. Nothing to do with the body leaning. Thats probably chatgpt used by the kid.
