If you have had the opportunity to look at the + off white version of this and the KFC Snapdragon I would love to see you do a "second times the charm" review segment where you look at 2.0 versions of figures that have came out recently.

I like it a lot! He also has working tech specs! The new head will come with Kingzilla. Kongor has magnets at the bottom of his feet too!

Fair review by the way!

I pretty much agree with you about this and most other KFC products.
the figures seem great and are simply held down by the fragility of the hands.

Very late to the party, but just want to say I was having a hell of a time transforming this guy, and this vid helped tons. Thanks! Cool figure, looks great in all three modes, but just like Kingzilla, suffers from looking a bit cheap. Could seriously use some paint on it. On the other hand, I'm just pleased that we got MP scale Horrorcons at all, so all in all, I'm very happy.

I agree, BSF. I hate the hands. But the rest looks nice to me. Great review.

Great review Skull Brother!!! The jet and ape modes are definitely better than that bad robot mode. I'd say an average figure but ultimately not for me...

The release button for the legs is a good touch. Definitely under utilized for sliding parts

that things looks more like, falcon's drone-thingy than a shield lol
also. from 7:34 to 7:51 KFC seems to give you the finger XD

Just got mine in today... 3 things a lot of the other reviewers missed... Prior to my purchase at least. Just how big the the head was in robot mode, just how big the guns are in robot mode (they essentially touch the ground if they're held at his sides) and just how deep the back pack is... Visually the back pack doesn't bother me, but the size is playing a huge issue for my display options. As for the guns, the left hand slot holds the gun perfectly, but I can't get the right hand to work at all. I also can't get any up and down movement for the head on my figure. I do agree with you in that it does look a little plain, and for me it's the same issue I have with MP Loudpedal... It's the grey plastic, like Loudpedal there's a lot of visible swirling, it's distracting and it doesn't present itself as a high end release. If the grey was painted I don't think I would have an issue with his appearance.

A must buy for me but the lack of Finnish is really bothering me but reprolables should fix that and also I here'd that a head replacement is going to come with snapdragon great video Mr Skullface I was waiting on your input

Dear Uncle Skullface,   Yeah, little late to the game with this I know, but just got my Apyface yesterday...and after playing with him for a couple hours, I realized there is an important thing you overlooked in terms of his nostalgia factor:  When playing with this guy, mostly manipulating and transforming both sets of his ape arms/legs....folding out his front arms from inside the wing stanchion, and just the LOOK of his rear/bottom legs...did this guy bring you nostalgic feels of the original "G1" Voltron Black Lion?!BOOSCH!

Learning not to eat the first pancake off the stove is a lesson with collecting 3P. Unless it's something I can't pass up, I've found it's better to wait until most options are out. Like the Reflector wars, Megatron, Springer... So of course I ordered this right out of the gate. LOL I don't hate it, don't love it either.

I have no idea how you figured out how to get him to ape mode. I have been starting at the instructions for quite a while now and couldn't figure out how the legs and cockpit were supposed to come together.. What terrible instructions! Thanks for making it clear to me how it's supposed to work!

Thanks for the review, for a KFC figure it doesn't look too bad but I'm really holding out on their Snapdragon as he's my favorite headmaster and if he's good then I might get Apeface here.

Here's a question - does any 3rd party sell hands to swap KFC's out? I know KFC sells hands, but that doesn't do a damn thing. I love the last few KFC pieces I've picked up, but those digits are killin' me.

I'm glad the build quality is good - certainly looks and sounds it (clickety!). I agree with the plainness - it's a big figure with some unbroken bare areas. The working tech specs is cool. I think if Snapdragon is good, i'll buy both, as I like the look overall.
