CA should build more prisons and more mental asylums. Period

Increasing prison populations is the point. If there's no room, build more. If there's no money, it's because businesses are leaving. At this point, prisons are an investment, not a cost.

But Gavin and Kamala tell us that crime is down.
Here is the game: They cite FBI violent crime statistics
While ignoring all the shoplifting, auto break-in, auto theft, Catalytic Converter theft
We need to tell both Gavin and Kamala to take a hike.

Voting yes on 36 is a no brainer. Let’s build more prisons if needed and clean up the cities and make California safe. I also feel like the police could use some extra budget to attract new recruits.

It is easy to steal from someone rather than get a job

So the opponents want to reward the criminals with just a slap on the wrist and freedom to continue their lift of crime. Nuts!

If they know they are going to jail maybe they will think twice before committing a crime. If there's no consequences for their actions they will keep doing it

Imagine thinking hard working citizens care about court cost for criminals terrorizing our communities

There should be NO DOLLAR AMOUNT attached to *any* burglary, theft, or larceny committed. Get rid of that $950 "ceiling"!

Build more prisons then. I don't care, I'm fed up with the lawlessness in our state.

Don't talk about how much 36 will cost without also talking about how much it will save.

I can't believe there are opponents to those laws.

anyone with any sense of logic and want of civil society will vote yes on 36.

It's insane how every California politician who's trying to reduce crime has to first clearly proclaim they are being "compassionate". The #1 priority for California politicians is to not incur the wrath of the pro-crime hard-left. Mayor Mahan is clearly fearful of the hard-left.

I don’t care if they need more prisoners I hate being burglarized repeatedly and I have had enough we are losing our wonderful places to shop. We the People need to be safe and wait our stores here.

Yes for prop 36, you do the crime, you paid the price

San Jose had fairly low crime for years. Not anymore. High housing with high homeless is a recipe for disaster like in LA, Oakland and SF. So sick of this.
