Can we talk about the flaws in the way unemployment is calculated and that the drop in unemployment, can also be attributed to the fact that people are working multiple jobs? In some future Nation in a Nutshell.

What's the betting on Phillip Lowes career after the Reserve bank? I'm wanting to put money on him getting highly paid work in the banking sector.

Question for Greg: How many Over 65s returning to the workforce for $4, 000 bonus does it take to block all the men lining up in the LMIP figures to raise male underemployment/unemployment do you think?

The one sentence from the premier, that had very little coverage, said that I'm not going to spend seven billion dollars when there are homeless people in this state.

I like that the Australia Institute sticks up for younger people and renters, but what's with bagging out over 65s who've worked their guts out to pay off their homes & put a few dollars in the bank to help fund their retirement? They're either fully funded retirees, or partly self funded. Remove those savings and they will have to collect a full pension, paid for from the public purse.
