Unboxing Lovestruck | Fairyloot August 2021

It's that time of the month again - opening up the UK's most loved YA book box subscription, Fairyloot.
August's theme is Lovestruck, which Fairyloot describes as, 'Romances that pull on your heartstrings are the best kind, whether it wrecks you or completes you! This theme is inspired by characters that fall in love without expecting to, which can lead to wholesome… or sometimes angsty entanglements'.
I really enjoyed this box, the items were nice and the double book month was fantastic - I would have bought these new, and to have TWO special editions...oh my!
Items inspired by Cemetary Boys, Caraval, These Violent Delights and A River of Royal Blood.
I loved this a little but more than Illumicrate's August box Dark Academia.

I got my box today and thought it was a much better box than the last few months. I think over the next couple of months you will find that they ramp up the boxes even more. I would place money on the fact that the next four boxes they will ramp them up even more as they always seem to do mind blowing boxes for the last 3/4 months of the year. I know what the books are for September and October and I have to say it has changed my mind on cancelling FairyLoot. It will be interesting to see if the standard of box drops off again in January

I love the two books, also! Our tray was delayed but I love the book Cemetery Boys so I'm looking forward to getting that item.. I need a tray in bathroom for oils so I think I'll use for that. Plastic is easy to clean so bathroom counter tray is likely use for me

I received my box and I loved it but my book came damaged and I didn’t get the tray.

I loved this box but my tray arrived with some like horrible peeling brown sticker on the back! I emailed them & they sent me a replacement which then arrived smashed to pieces!! Honestly blame the delivery driver more than Fairyloot but it’s so funny to me that I may end up with three of these trays when I don’t actually like the design / have no use for it! 😂
