a couple years ago, I managed to semi-domesticate a feral cat. I say semi- domesticated, because while she enjoyed access to a house and steady food supply, she still spent most of the spring and summer dwelling outside, hunting to her heart's content, still fighting the barn-cats even while getting older and having a litter.

Cats were domisticated twice (not all cats came from Egypt), they were firstly domisticated in Asia and then a while later they were domisticated in Egypt ( most cats are a mixture of both, of these domestication processes).
