*Slight Spoilers* but it's kinda funny how the one who took her placement is Buggy who is also an unpredictable Clown with tons of connection in the Underworld

She was most likely the first emperor. Of the original four, Shanks is comfirmed to have been the latest addition. Between Kaido, Whitebeard and her, she was the only one to have influence stretching back to the days of Rocks. Kaido was too young and I don’t remember if it’s confirmed but I always read it as that WB only grew his influence after his last talk with Roger in hopes of helping the future Pirate King. Before then he had a few ships but that’s when he first took up his role as a Yonkou. Big Mom dreamt of ruling territory from day one and has her own country while Shanks and Kaido only stay in a preexisting place. She is THE emperor of the sea.

I fucking love Big Mom so much. There’s just something so incredible about a Disney Like Villain being in a Shonen, Largely Battle but mostly comedy anime and being considered for the longest time one of the top of the verse. Infact both Law and Kidd, not only had to fully awaken their DF to beat her, but had to use Hax, and zone her off the map.

That's why I hate when people rate Big Mom's IQ low. When she is not in her feast mode, she is one of the smartest characters. Otherwise she wouldn't have an information network and influence across the whole world

I like Big Mom. I'm only on Wholecake (somewhere between 810 and 820), and yes, she killed her son, but she's the only human actively trying to end racism in the verse

Big mom was handled so horribly in wano personally I think that oda should've left her out of this arc if he was gunna handle her like this
