YT Capra MK3 | How Does the Newest Generation Capra Climb?

On today's ride, we went to Laguna to see how well the Capra does on long, steep climbs. Overall, it climbed very well, and it was a lot more efficient than my old 27.5 Commencal. On this bike, I noticed I could make it to the top without being super tired, and was able to get going a lot quicker. I am really happy with this bike, and I can't wait to ride it somewhere else!

Heavy, long travel bikes RULE! There is simply nothing more fun. I mean, you don't want it obnoxiously heavy, but 35lbs. give or take a few is not the end of the world. THEY CAN CLIMB JUST FINE! That's why they slap a 52-tooth cogger on there. Cool that you made a video focusing on the climbing capability of your new long travel bike. Good stuff! And yeah, that Willow climb is not exactly what I would call fun, lol, but it's probably better than climbing Mathis because it's not as long and drawn out.

Sick! Just a pointer, I see that you use two fingers on your brakes. You'll be much more controlled if you try to use one finger per brake!
