I've compiled a reading list of my favourite history books via the Amazon influencer program. If you do choose to purchase any of these incredible sources of information then Amazon will send me a tiny fraction of the earnings (as long as you do it through the link) (this means more and better content in the future) I'll keep adding to and updating the list as time goes on:-

I try to use copyright free images at all times. However if I have used any of your artwork or maps then please don't hesitate to contact me and I’ll be more than happy to give the appropriate credit.

Alright then guys. Months of effort on this one. Nearly broke me. Glad to have it finally out there. Who do you think the Sea Peoples were? Let me know what you think in the comments! Don't forget to like, subscribe, comment etc and why not share with a like minded friend. Where would you like to see me go and film next once it's a bit easier to travel? Thanks for watching and see you next time

Anyone else end up here when you let autoplay go while sleeping? The algorithm really wants us all to know who these folks were lol

Dude,
I'm a 61year old Disabledd woman in R rural Pennsylvania and my funds are extremely limited. I write this because I sure would've liked to have helped you continue sharing your knowledge.
Being disabled I cannot get out and certainly not to any of the places you've taken me.
I'd like to thank you ever so much for all the many enjoyable hours I've spent learning from you and visiting so many exotic places at your side seemingly. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!

The nostalgia of late night shows on the History Channel when I was a child that this gave me was insane. Well done sir.

I love it when I find a “watchable” Ancient History Doc!! It’s not just watchable…it’s also shareable…which is exactly what I am doing! I’m not known for my ability to sit still, so thanks!! Keep up the great work!!

This man could single handedly revive the History channel

I'm a professional archivist and historian, originally specialized in the Ancient Near East. You managed to tell the story using solid, established scholarship while also bringing in some of the newer stuff as well without falling off the horse on either side. That is very difficult indeed and it is quite an achievement. This would get the highest marks in any MA program in the US. Very well done.

I’m so glad I woke up in the middle of the night to discover this channel a few weeks ago. This is by far the best history channel on YT and among the best historical documentaries I’ve ever seen.

This one man show puts anything the History Channel puts out to shame.

I cannot believe you did all this on your own. This is on par with professional production. The sound design is so nostalgic, reminiscent of early 2000s documentaries, and the amount of information you put into this is astounding! I'm so glad you didn't give up on this, it's an impressive feat! Keep doing this please, you're a treasure to have around.

I won't lie, when I clicked on this while baked as fuck I was expecting it to be some Ancient Aliens-style pseudohistory based on the title, but here I am coming back to this video every few weeks. I genuinely think this video is an achievement, especially in the absence of any decent free historical programming and doubly impressive for a one man project, it's reignited my childhood love for ancient history. thanks, man

I'm a camera guy professionally and so don't really have a reason to be here. Doesn't mean I need one! The history of man kind and the things people have revered, the wars fought over resources or beliefs, the diversity of people's origins, and the ideas traded throughout... these things give context and with that a certain objectivity. At least for me. When non historians argue about who's land belongs to them, who's religion is correct, who's ideas are worthy, I like to look back at topics like the one covered in this video for some truth behind the matter. Or at least a step closer to truth than uneducated, radical claims so common in today's world. Bravo, well done, this video was beyond excellent!

Two years later and I still find this video extremely useful. This topic is so well-researched in this video that it should be used in university courses. The Nuragic civilization is fascinating and it makes me wonder if there was any influence to the west of Sardinia such as with the Talaiotic culture. Outstanding work.

Great content! I really loved the line about "If you believe the Pharoah's propaganda, they never lost, but it appeared that they kept winning closer and closer to home". That's just good writing.

Bro this is really awesome work, I can’t believe you did this all yourself .. it’s so professional it’s literally better quality than stuff you’d see on history channel

Just learned I was of Anatolian origin; I share the same Haplogroup with remnants between 9500 BC - 1200 BC, mainly between Hattusha and Troy. Then I get relatives in Caucasia, south Ukraine, Europe, Iran.. all dated between 800 BC ~ Present.

Something drove my paternal lineage out of Anatolia and it started 1200 BC. And this information brought me here. Didn’t know about such a big event in the history.

This is better quality than just about everything the History channel produces these days, AND IS ACTUAL HISTORY AND NOT REALITY TV. You good sir just got another subscriber.

This is by far the best documentary I have ever watched expositing the Bronze Age collapse. I want to commend you for your efforts, and I thank you for your time and dedication to this upload, a crowning achievement for your channel.

Your videos are amazing, History Time! I've been studying the peoples of the ancient Mediterranean for several years now, primarily focused on the Etruscans (Tyrrhenians/Rasna/Rasenna) and their origins. I'm in no way a professional, but the Etruscans have fascinated me for over 15 years; so much so that I now have a sizable library dedicated to them. Your videos, especially this one on the Sea Peoples, gives all the various peoples of the area, of unknown or debated origins, their fair share of exposure and consideration. Thank you for all your hard work and may the ancient historians guide you through your journeys.
