By far one of the scariest scenes I've seen. The look in her eyes you could tell it was from a unnatural inhuman spirit. Such great acting!!!

This is by far the freakiest and scary moment in the movie. The whole showing of the demon itself though wasn't as cool. It was much scarier when you were aware that it was there, but could not see it.

What's scarier in fighting something you can't see? Only your loved ones can see it but not you, knowing it's there watching and taunting you and you're powerless to stop it. Now that's truly terrifying.

The only thing I still can't believe about this scene to this day is not about how scary the drawing is, but how perfect the artist drew it. I still can't believe that person could draw so well at a pace trying to match what Elise described the demon as.😅😅😅

One of the SCARIEST & TERRIFYING scenes in the history of horror movies. The intensity of Lin Shaye’s acting makes it so convincing to be terrified of what we can’t see. Old fashioned yet truly effective and brilliantly executed horror. James Wan created a CLASSIC HORROR MOVIE. I was more scared of the demon while I couldn’t see it than seeing it itself. The real basis of horror is to bring sense of dread to the unknown. 12 years to James Wan’s “INSIDIOUS”!! 😈😈😈

Definitely heard her say “you can see all of its internal organs.” Which is weird. There are other things she says that don’t match up either. Perhaps the form we see at the end of the film isn’t it’s true form.
