I have one of the full-size vittsjo and a half-sized one. I have the half-sized one on top of another piece of furniture that has storage under for all my supplies. My son assembled them for me. He said he only had to use a mallet three times to force pieces to fit. Also, the instructions don't have any words and he said that was just like all the Lego things he had built. I love him! He has no interest in my plants but he's a good assembler!
