In this video I show all the Blue Screen Errors from Windows 1.0 All the way to Windows 11! I skipped out some versions where the blue screens were the same.

In early windows versions (1.0, 2.0, 3.1) the strange text and the tone have a sort of eerie feel to it, like I killed my PC or something like that, you won't feel that with windows 10 or 11 bsods because they seem to be more ui friendly now.

For anyone curious, windows 1.01 was old.. which probably explains the proto-BSOD. Oh, and yes i recall those are emojis too.

For anyone willing to test it out, you have to also be willing to shell out prob about 5 grand or so, itd be easier to emulate it on virtualbox or something that supports win 1.01

The Windows 7 blue screen appeared on my notebook in the middle of the online class, which gave me some trauma and fear 💀 And the noise it made while the blue screen was on was so loud that I could hear it in my backyard

NT v3.51 had a very different BSOD than the DOS based versions of Windows

the pre-3.0 crashes are caused by an incorrect ms-dos version i believe, and it scrolls down to a wall of gibberish cuz its technically still a giant text field
