PPG wave 2.3 custom ambient sounds

PPG wave 2.3 through my GFI clockwork delay pedal. I made some custom ambient sounds to show some untypical sides of the PPG. You have almost 1800 waves there and there is no need only to use wavetables running through an envelope. It also can be interesting just programm a pad sound with a long filter sweep and some modulation using very musical and beautiful waveforms. For lush ensemble string sounds for example there is wavetable 28 very ususful. Thanks for watching and enjoing the video.

It’s a 2 trick pony. Oberheim’s blow it away for pads, and the Minimoog blows it away for leads. The ppg cuts through the mix with bells and time delayed wavetable cascades. Before you comment, I have 4 minimoogs, 2 prophet vs’s, obx, obxa, and 4 Taurus 1 pedals. To my ears there are 3 wavetables that actually sound good.

Sehr schöne Klänge! Aber wie kommst du auf Wavetable 41? Der PPG wave 2.2/3 hat nur 32: Nr. 0 bis 31. Wobei der Wellensatz Nr. 30 der Upperwavetable ist, den man ja nur „hinter“ bzw. „oberhalb“ der normalen Wellensätze durch Modulationen erreicht (oder Digital Page). Dieser funktioniert im 2.3er Mode nur in der ersten Combi Bank Position.
Zurück zum Wellensatz Nr. 41:
Es könnte sein, dass wenn man höhere Wert eingibt, dann diese den Wert über 31 ergibt. Also 41 -31 = 10. Also Wavetable Nr. 10? Schalte mal auf 10 um: Wenn es der gleiche Klang bleibt, stimmt meine Vermutung.
