And a song by Indy at the end! Love it!

As I started this program with Dr. Indy's CS425 course, it is only fitting that he closes out this video. (especially as he performed a very catchy ukulele song about distributed system timestamps during the course!)

Congrats to all of the other graduates and thanks to all of the instructors, teaching assistants, and support staff!

We’ve received a report of at least one person who was about to get charged for shipping for their graduation gift. This is NOT intended – you should not be charged for shipping for your gift. We have filed a report with our vendor. (Unfortunately, this may not get fixed until early during the week of May 17.)

I really hope that the department graduations are part of the reinvitation to campus after COVID. As much as I'm sure the faculty tried to make this special, this was a little underwhelming.

Past ceremonies got people like Thomas Siebel to speak, and graduates got to sit with their friends and celebrate something significant in a fitting environment.

Meanwhile, I ate a bagel in my apartment alone while watching this :/
