The m16 you drew was an m16a2/3/4 because of the circular clamshell handguard because the m16 and m16a1 have a triangular handguard

My favorite variant is the m16 no a1 no a2 just m16 with square magazine

There's actually a marksman variant of the m16 to serve as marksman/sniper rifle only exclusive for the philippine armed forces, its the MSSR (Marine Scout Sniper Rifle), a heavily modified M16A1.
