I am a 29 yr old single mother returning to college and the thought of taking an accounting class really intimidated me. Got my accounting degree 25 years ago. Never used it, did other things. Wish I had used it. Forgot 90% from not using it. Felt like a dummy for forgetting so much about accounting. Your videos are SERIOUSLY FANTASTIC. My confidence is surging and my accounting recollection is coming back. I can't learn near as well from a dry boring video. You are down to earth and that keeps my mind open and receptive to this information. I expect that is what everyone likes about your teaching methods. PEACE! :)

Thank you. Us lefties must stick together. First I'm 100% shocked you never smudged the board! Second I'm so impressed with the simple detail. 8 years out of college and been working with limited need for accounting but have a job offer that would excite me and get my ass back in school to finish. I did payroll/hr major and graduated with above 4 honours but have never got the chance to use my skills. These videos refreshed my brain so I'll be more confident going for the job interview with the accounting firm. Thank you so much!!!!

Dumb question here. I know you are only allowed to depriciate once. but if you sell this asset after it has reached $0 for scrap value to maybe your own daughter company or someone else can you then get it revalued and depriciate it again? Lets say I own 2 shipping companies one startup and one public listed, I own only 5% of shares in public company but 90% in the startup, So I want to get some ships over to my startup to sell to avoid losing 95% to shareholders?
