Consensus Is the END of Science

There has always been full consensus on every facet of "true" science. Those who don't agree must be othered, isolated from society, and possibly reeducated. Any change in the accepted dogma has to come from those in authority, and must always serve to increase their power. That's how science works.

Amazing that Neil Degrasse Tyson went on national TV and claimed that all that mattered in science was consensus. Might be a good physicist but he’s a pretty horrible student of history.

Everyone wants everything for free but will then ironically wonder why no-one (outside of the 'approved' or grifting) are motivated to the 'approved' supposed 'innovators' often and primarily simply end up serving other 'approving' political/ideological interests rather than free/open innovation.
