That’s a steal for sure ! It’ll do fine without the factory knock sensor, just disable it on the hondata. Those older knock sensors aren’t very accurate anyways. Good stuff guys !!

Might want to consider a flex section for the exhaust. I did a Similar set up a while ago and a weld ended up breaking right at the test pipe. Always enjoy the content.

Hey man nice crx . For the knock sensor just a few things you can look into . Make sure your getting a good ground to your engine swap that ground on the valve cover to the knut that holds it to the head as where it is it will not have no connection to the head do to the valve cover gasket . Another thing to look into for the knock sensor code is make sure your ignition timing is good predet. Will cause a knock in the engine and can turn the code on. And try a new knock sensor from Honda . Hope this helped

You could disable the knock sensor on the hondata

You will get a knock sensor code if you use the p28 because it doesn't have the capability for it on the ecu. Just disable it in hondata. If you use a p72, you can use the knock sensor.

If it still sputters. Try messing with the timing in the distributor. I had that problem on my crx with a dohc zc and my buddy had it on his integra. I just advanced it and it went away.

knock sensor is not used above 5000 rpm on a stock b16 ecu. Only active below 5000

Those plugs are easy to mix up try switching the plugs around

Hello do you happen to have any suggestions for ac system reinstall for a d16a6 in acrx si. Like maybe if you have any recent recourses of people who did all parts needed and testing. I saw the system with the engine installed. Ill research the forums but if you have a “dummies guide” that would be good thanks
