In full: Boris Johnson hosts Covid press conference

Boris Johnson is giving a live press conference following his address to the nation last night.

This will give members of the public and journalists the first opportunity to ask the Prime Minister questions since he announced the country's third lockdown.

Mr Johnson is joined by chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty and chief scientific adviser Sir Patrick Vallance.
