I am not a Andhabhakt. But it is quite reasonable to construct Mahadev Mandir at this very place. I have visited Vishwanath temple 8 times. Everytime I stare at that structure which is a temple.

Gyanwapi was the Temple where Sant Tulsidas ji first recited his "Shri Ramcharitmanas", it was finally approved the Mahadev Himself, he wrote "Satyam Shivam Sundaram" on the original manuscript of Ramcharitmanas

I do agree that our primary goal should be progress but also need to acknowledge our roots. As Mecca and Medina hold the utmost significance place for Muslims, similarly for Hindus, Benaras, Ayodha and Mathura are of significant importance, the culture of Hindu role models (God depiction). Taking this fact into account, I expect Muslims to acknowledge it and let go of their claim at least in these 3 places. Also, Hindus must limit and agree not to demand anymore. My opinion does reflect what once ASI's director K K Muhammed said, who is a Muslim. # Peace

The photos of structure which you have shown make it very clear whether it is Masjid or not. If both sides agree to the solution that Ayodhya, Kashi & Mathura are sacred places for Hindus, and we give it to them, all tensions will go away. General public is ready for such compromise but leaders from all sides dont want it. People has to decide whether they want better future for their next generation or riots. But this need to be taken positively by all sides. Always expectations of understanding can't be from one side, other side also need to show maturity an empathy.
