i am, almost every day, even though i was a little child then. grown up enough though, to understand certain social issues. fucking hell, i miss those days, especially one particular aspect of . you could advance in society purely based on abilities, ambition, regardless of how rich or poor your daddy was. now, real science is the privilege of the ones with the rich daddy, while the government doesn't give a shit about education. nor health care, pensions, or progress for that matter. many western countries don't do much better either. on the other hand, tennis or football players, singers, actors, all kind of trash, earn more in a year than the net worth of a small country... there is something very wrong about how the world, as it is today, don't you think ?
