Well I got all correct.I am a teacher for 46 years. We had to learn the Queen’s English in the 60’s because we were ruled by England at that time .At an early age of 9years I had to learn very high English Day and night cramming and remembering parts of speech Odom’s, subject and verb agreement and many more too numerous to mention so I have a thorough knowledge of English Language.I’ve taught English to children who never knew to speak it and very short while they could have spoken this language. These questions are like tea for me.

To do something once in a blue moon is to hardly ever do it, not just 'not very often'!

I found Question #6 to be a bit off. To “cut corners” does not really mean to do things in the least expensive way possible, which was the best of the options offered. Rather there is an inference that safety measures (usually) would be bypassed/ignored in an effort to complete the project on or ahead of time….

In England, to "give up the ghost" means to give up trying. (I lived there for the first 56 years of my life.) I've never before heard of it being used to decribe some who has passed away (died).

Interesting quiz, different from other online quizzes. As an American familiar with these, I got 10/10. In question 6, "to cut corners" is not always the cheapest, it is the least professional way of doing things, and sometimes a lesser way of doing it safely.
