Hi Everyone!
Today we take a look at the P-7500 power amplifier from Accuphase. This is the most powerful amplier they've produced so far, and it's a beast. It will power any speaker you care to pair it with but still boasts plenty of control and an extemely low noise floor.

Just looking at the power meters lighting up is good enough for me.

Nice overview. Beautiful amplifier! I thought you were going to talk about the sound? What about price?

Love Accuphase. They really set the bar as far as build quality and actually using good parts. The "Japanese McIntosh" comparisons are an insult IMO to Accuphase, especially anybody that has experience with both brands. Zero fancy case work with cheap as possible off the shelf parts or eval board amps here, they're the real deal. I just wish they got back into the Class A/B multi-ch amp game though with a long overdue PX600 successor up to their current standards. Especially now with slow-motion controlled demolition of Bryston after the Axiom takeover, Classe also being wrecked and many brands just having ATI make amps for them. Definitely room for Accuphase in this space.

What about pair it with the Triangle Magellan Duetto 40?

1:29 I'm guessing you mean 113dB, because 13dB is terrible!

Hi, great video. I am planning to buy an Accuphase Power amplifier to pair with Accuphase C2900. I am primarily a Jazz listener. My dealer has both A75 and P7500 at same price. My speaker is Monitor Audio PL 200 (sensitivity 90db). Which power amp do you recommend for me? I am leaning towards P7500. Thanks in advance.

Accuphase is the end game amp. That said, I still think I'd prefer their A75 class A...

Regarding the “meter knob”. When you say it has off, 3 seconds and infinite you aren’t clear about what they mean or why. Do you mean 3 second setting is delayed by 3 seconds to average that much of a time period for an average reading? And what does infinite mean? When you say it gives you the peak output over the whole song do you mean it holds the highest reading and stays there? And then you never even mention how normal mode differs from the other two modes. Does it show real time readings as a conventional VU might show? You seemed to want to speed through this review of a very expensive piece of equipment.
