HOW TO WAKE UP CALADIUM BULBS | DORMANT BULBS | GROW CALADIUMS

Hey there!

February is a great time to wake up your Caladium Bulbs! Caladium bulbs can take a while to come out of dormancy so the earlier you start them the better. You will want to pot them up and keep them warm. 60-65 F is a good temp to keep them. You will want to water them fully at planting then sparingly until you see above soil growth.

I bit the bullet and ordered mine from a grower in Florida “Classic Caladiums” night and day difference in quality and growth… they shipped them when the bulb was ready to be planted directly in the ground according to my zip code. Saw leaves from every bulb in six days. I’m hoping to be able to pull the bulbs after our first frost and store in a dry location for next year 🤞🏼Happy Planting!

Great video~ coffee filters are very expensive. You can cut up old T-shirts and use them instead. Just a thought.
