@ZapFlap hi Zap, to summarise, it's a great phone for the price, responsive and stable (not flaky) with a good multi-touch screen and texting is easy and pleasant to use. It's not the best-of-the-best, but very good value-for-money. It booted up and was ready to use immediately. It's an unlocked phone, able to be used with any avalable telecom in Australia. The phone is actually my teenage daughters phone - she had never used Android before, but was using it easily from the first day. A good buy

@bigmanyaxxx - lol - yeah, but the pink rubbery cover needs to have extra holes punched in it for the speaker and microphone positions. The proper-fit covers will be out before too long I hope.

how was it texting, was it easy to hit the right button, not pressing the wrong things? and how was it to use when you first opened it? was it easy to find everything or did you have to sit down for a minute to find out something?

Who knows what these product marketing people are thinking? Hey Mario, we gonna call this phone your "Impulse" or my "Ideos"? I know, let's call it both names, but in different countries! Win - Win!

The only real drawaback with this phone is the battery life.
