Belgrade - the capital city of Serbia is an amazing city for tourists. We spent several hours exploring the Belgrade Fortress and Belgrade Military Museum. The views from the site which sit high on a cliff are breathtaking. After visiting the fortress, we look around, Sarah does some shopping and then we have a surprise dinner for you to see! We are Jay and Sarah, we are travelling the world full time and make videos showing what our life is like wherever we end up. We hope to share the love of travel with our viewers and inspire you to travel as well.

Another great video. Belgrade is a gem.

It's open 24/7. During the hot, muggy summer days, it is best to visit Kalemegdan fortress early in the morning or late afternoon early evening around 6 pm to watch the sunset. Whenever I come to visit my hometown of Belgrade from Toronto a walk around Kalemegdan fortress grounds is a must. ❤️

You should have beach day during those hot days… visit Ada Ciganlija - city lake… you can easily spend all day there… so much to do and see there

You’ve mentioned hostels a few times during your Belgrade travels. You staying in a private room or doing the bunk rooms? Please share your experience as someone who’s not a college student. I may want to add hostels to my future travel plan, but I still need to be convinced!

There is a bunker under Kalemegdan built after WWII for the leadership to hide in in case of attack. There is also a big room with Roman remains. I recommend a guided tour, you will see things normal visitors don’t see.
The most popular restaurant now in Belgrade is a Sri Lankan restaurant. Check that one out!

Hello! Your videos are very good. You represent Serbia very well, and i am also glad that you like Serbian food.
That's why I want to suggest you if you are still in Serbia to suggest that you go to the south of Serbia. The cities of Niš, Pirot and Leskovac have the most delicious food in the country, especially grilled dishes. Niš has been an important historical city since Roman times and the unofficial gastronomic capital of Serbia.
Everything you try from food in Belgrade, in Niš and in the south in general is much tastier, better quality and cheaper. I hope you will stay in Serbia and visit some other parts of the country besides Belgrade.

Love! So sorry you're sweltering, but you're powering through. Belgrade looks like they didn't get the crap bombed out of them so still has some beautiful buildings. So great. Who doesn't love Indian food? How are the food prices? I'd love for you to go into a grocery store if you see one. Sarah needs a Kindle ASAP! Looking forward to your next video, stay cool! ❤

True, the only stealth fighter jet ever downed was the (invisible) F117 during the 1999 Kosovo War; fortunately the pilot survived and was extracted by the USAF rescue unit. After the war was over, the F117 pilot Lt. Col. Zelko, and the 'battery commander' Col Dani actually met in person but this time as civilians. They became good friends and their meeting was televised by the Serbian main TV station - sometimes the reality is stranger than the fiction.

Oh my .... Indian food 😮 looked lovely, you lucky people, we cook quite authentic Indian curries at home now, case of having to 😅

Great video, lots of info. You really get a feel for the place.

@Sarah, why do you not have a Kindle, I read 4/5 books a month and couldn't do without mine ?

Channel is growing nicely, well done 👏

Great Indian restaurants are Diwali (or Maharaja) - not sure which one it is now, and also Spice. The one you ate at is of a newer date.

No. There are different bureks. The one you had doesn't even look like burek. Try a different pekara. Serbia has pitas, bureks, and gibanicas. Also different pekaras make burek differently. You just need to know where to go.
