LG B1 OLED TV Review - Save money on an OLED with an online exclusive?

The LG B1 OLED is an excellent TV. It sits alongside the LG C1 OLED in LG's 2021 lineup, so it has many of the same features, with a different processor. It's pretty standard for an OLED as it delivers the same exceptional picture quality that they're known for. It can turn off individual pixels, resulting in a near-infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity, making it a fantastic choice for use in dark rooms. Gamers should appreciate the variable refresh rate (VRR) support and HDMI 2.1 inputs, meaning that you can use the next-gen consoles to their full capabilities. Like most OLEDs, it doesn't get very bright, so it's not the best choice for well-lit rooms, but it still has incredible reflection handling. Unfortunately, OLEDs may be the victim of permanent burn-in, but we don't expect this to be an issue for people who watch varied content.

65''' BX model from last year was quite a lot cheaper than 65'' CX. I remember finding a 65'' BX for 1300 bucks, while the CX never decreased bellow 1700. I did not buy the tv but for that price, it was a hell of a deal

i got the Bx in 2020 and it was $1500 less than the Cx at the 65" size. it makes full use of the ps5, no burn in either from a year plus of gaming hours a day.

Great review as always, I did end up buying the OLED B1 thanks to you guys. It went down to 800GBP where I live, compared to 1100GBP for the C1. I am pretty happy with it, despite my room being pretty bright during the day. For gaming it's a nice set, got it hooked up with PS5 and Series X, and really smearing/ghosting was the biggest issue with standard LCD TVs, and that's finally solved.

What sold me were the Dolby Atmos speakers. Fully intended to purchase a separate Atmos soundbar but the built in 40 RMS speakers are perfectly fine on their own.

@ 1:35 = Reason why oleds is the way to go. NO BLOOMING. QLEDS lcd has a backlight while oled doesnt. btw. = Infinite contrast and imo its beats higher peak brightness thus the image is brighter on the QLED but with the blooming it comes with it, Sorta messes it up at the same time so you have a bright/milky image. OLED is a little dimmer but again the contrast you get from it can't be beat. That depth you get from a OLED

But the B1 seems to be a solid option more so then the A1 thats for sure..

Sounds like the C1's younger brother. If they sell or discount it at a great price, it will be worth it otherwise one is better off buying the C1 or A80J. The C1 is even cheaper currently.

OK, quick question. Found both tv models -C1 and B1- at the same price. The only difference is that C1 is 48'' and B1 is larger, at 55"". Same price, different sizes. Which one should i get?
