Intention : breathe and enjoy

I love how this practice makes me feel awesome after doing it, with relaxed and peaceful mood I can enjoy the day and stay focused on what matters most.

As someone who suffers from anxiety and a continual struggle with worrying about what others think, this pose is such a strengthening boost that helps me with that battle. It teaches me to laugh at myself, (preferably not while in the pose!) and never to take myself too seriously. I have a sore throat this morning too, so it was a go-to for me for that as well! Thank you Adriene for such a valuable class!

I wanted to share. I was watching this and practicing this and I looked down after and noticed my kitten was doing it too! It melted my heart. He was ADORABLE with his little mouth wide open and tongue hanging out!! He was sitting so it even looked like he was in the pose!

I really feel this lion's breath today, the tremendous feeling of calm takes over me after the practice and I am now super ready to face the day with strength and ease.

Practising lion's breath in The Big Cat Sanctuary in Headcorn, Ashford, UK in summer 2022 right after hearing a mighty roar of a lion. Thanks Adriene, whatever yoga or pranayama practice I need, I know I can always find it here 💕

when I first started practicing Lions Breath I felt silly and selfconcious, even tho I was still doing by myself. Now I find it enjoying, relaxing and actually a little freeing... Thank you Adriene

Of all the 'breaths' we do in yoga, I find Lions Breath is the best one for when I am trying to push further in a stretch - it helps release the tension I have holding me back from getting deeper in the stretch. I love this!!
