Fix Flickering Logitech Pedals not working, braking by itself (G25 G27 G29 G920 G923)

How to solve the problem of Logitech pedals with inaccurate, jitter, flickering, failing problem. Fix the throttle, brake and clutch pedals issue. The potentiometers are likely dirty, you have to clean them. Also works for the car accelerating or braking by itself.

I have a second hand G27 which had a decent amount of dust and animal hair in when I opened it to make quietening and brake mods. Cleared it all out but some must have got to the potentiometers because they were jittering or dragging afterwards. This video solved that problem for me. I prefer to route the cables into the little clip channels on the upper plastic casing though. That would be easier if you do the box trick (flip the unit upside down and sit it with the pedals inside a box and the plastic resting around the edge), then remove all screws and base plate so you have only the upper plastic and individual pedals sitting within it.

My throttle has been fluctuating for like 2 months and I’ve been tryna make due (not trying to spend anymore money). But last night the brake pedal started doing some real weird ish and I was like aight time to take it apart. Lo and behold my pedals were HELLA DIRTY on the inside. Perks of living with a stylist all types of thread and hair and dust. Cleaned it, did the alcohol thing with the silver pieces, put it back together and boom like new baby 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

I had this issue with my brake pedal since I bought my G29. I sent it back a couple of times to fix it during warranty, but they sent it back saying it works perfectly fine. So I used the clutch pedal as brake for years. I followed your method and now it works as it should have been in the first place. Thank you very much!

This works okay for a while but the problem will return. To achieve a long term result the potentiometers need to be removed, dismantled and cleaned with a circuit board cleaner and cotton bud. Then a light layer of dialectric grease (non electrically conductive grease) needs to be applied to the contact mating surfaces. This will greatly extend the life of the potentiometers and give trouble free operation for quite some time. I did this six months ago and have had no trouble since.

Hi, I watched this clip one night, I noticed that the accelerator pedal sometimes flickered and it was annoying to play. I looked at this tutorial as I didn't have a special solution and I came up with engine oil and it works perfectly!

Thanks so much dude. My accelerator was flickering and making drifting impossible. I dabbed some metholated spirits on the motor with toilet paper while pumping the throttle and the accuracy came back within minutes. Great stuff!

My gas pedal used to flicker from time to until it won't get full throttle when my foot is all the way down so I watch your vedio and it worked way better than I thought it would and I just wanted to say thanks bro

This one is great i tried with alcohol first time and it was great, but there is second video of guy doing it with WD-40 and yeah second time i clean it with WD-40 and it passes 6 months and still working perfect so this method is great but cleaning potentiometers with wd-40 had better result for me.
