Getting access to a Schengen Visa will not typically prevent you from visiting other Schengen Countries (it is very rare). This type of visa allows you to only enter the Schengen Region ONCE. So, if you go into Italy (Schengen Country) and then to the UK (non-Schengen Country), you are unable to go back to France (Schengen Country) - as you have already entered the Schengen Region once.

This type of visa allows you to enter the Schengen Region TWICE and only twice, no more than that. Which means, you could travel to Italy (Schengen Country) and then go to the UK (non-Schengen Country) and the travel to France (Schengen Country) on the same Visa but you are not able to re-enter the region again. This visa type is very rare and you most probably will not have the situation.

I recommend that you apply for this visa, as long as you are able to provide evidence as to why your travel requires it. It means you can travel in and out of the Schengen region unlimited times over the validity of the visa (eg, 12 months) as long as you do not stay within the region for more than 90 days out of a 180 day period.

I don't think this is clear. You are mixing and explaining a lot about single/double/multi entry which is not really the title/answer of this video: WHERE and not hoe many times.

The question is very simple: if I got a Shenghen visa from the Italian Embassy, regardless of how many entries i Wanna do, can I fly into spain (for instance) or france or any other country of the Shenghen without even touching base on Italian soil?
