Is there any reason why people don't bottle straight from the spigot?

Great video! Quick question - is it OK to added the priming sugar solution to your beer in the fermenter bucket and then syphon into your bottles? Or should you use a separate bucket? Thanks

Hi its me again, have had great success following your instructions on my cider and pale ale, in the process of making a irish red and was going to try to clarify using the gelatin method, Can i add gelatin to clarify and after a couple days add my sugar and bottle? Concerned that the gelatin will remove the yeast needed to carbonate with, hope you can help,

I want to reuse bottles without removing labels... what would you recommend in terms of sanitizing those bottles?

This might sound like a dumb question. Can I add the priming sugar solution straight to the carboy that I fermented the beer in, cork it, and call it a day?

Hey! Great video!! I’ve got a question, can I bottle straight from the prime fermenter? I’ve got a SS techbrew 304 (the one with a valve at the bottom) ? I’d use carbonation drops on each bottle, is it ok? Or should I transfer into a bottling bucket for “clearing”?

I have a question
i have a recipe that call for 3 days carbonation
using cane sugar 10gr for 500ml
but at the third day, it didnt carbonated well
then i ask a person who write thr recipe
he said i need to add a little bit more yeast around 0.5 gr and wait for another 5 days
what happen is, it is overcarbonating
when i open my corked bottle, its explode like a shaked champangne .
should i wait more than 3 days instead of adding more yeast?

Hi, great video! A question, I always prime directly from the primary fermenter into the bottle with sugar solution in them. I think I have an issue with oxidation as all of my latest IPA tastes really good the first 5 - 10 days, then taste pretty bad after that. Could I have been wrong regarding oxidation, could it be the sediment that sometimes follow that makes it taste bad? I have been afraid of moving the beer from primary fermenter to second bucket due to oxidation, but it will be fine?

Awesome video. You boiled 2 cups of water for the priming sugar, but how much priming sugar were you using? Asking because I'm doing quite a small batch, just under a gallon and don't want to over water my beer

What are these reports of people crushing the bottle during the capping process?

I have an Anvil Crucible Conical Fermenter. Can I add the priming sugar directly to the fermenter? if so, what is the best way to prevent oxygen. Boil sugar and let cool. Open fermenter and priming sugar and mix or do not mix lightly?

1oz is 28g. Do you happen to know how much honey i'd use to batch prime one gallon? Brewing calculators say around 38g, but brooklyn brew shop recommends 63g in their book. Im unsure.
