You also get calls about a suicide often, but you wont hear about that side of Vegas.

Being a cop in LV: “ok just stand there and act like you’re directing traffic. Ignore all the drunk drivers, red light offenders and people driving with no headlights”

As a casino employee, I can tell you with confidence that getting to eat at a casino's employee dining room for free is NOT a benefit. 😂

Fire/EMS also get food in the employee lounges. Also, you die a little everyday you’re in fire/ems/pd/or the ER. So huge savings on retirement there.

Every metro cop says to not work on the strip because you don’t get any good street experience. Usually, casino security has done most of the heavy lifting and Metro is usually just pickup for MDC.

I appreciate the work, that Metro does. They saved my life.

Genuinely this is a great form of recruiting because I sure did find this enticing

The reason they're secret is because accepting free stuff goes against Metro's written policy

You've never eaten at many of the employee dining rooms if you consider that a benefit (exception, the Wynn.)

Worked at a large arena (concerts, fights). Metro officers ignored most everything, even fights in the audience. Thank goodness the other security officers didn’t!

I knew a Vegas cop that’s probably still in therapy after that big outdoor shooting. He was one of the first responders to the scene. It’s not an easy life.

Remember in Vegas it’s not a bribe. It’s an incentive.

Yeah when i was working in resorts world and they all are great that came into them. Had a conversation with some, and they were always thankful for it when they were assisted. Because the TDR room (Team Dining Room) they always had peace, and always felt the welcoming by employees there. 👌🏽

You can also ignore video cameras, let a violent offender go, and cite a person commiting self defense of a third party with misdemeanor battery. Luckily my attorney got it dismissed but ill never view the cops in a positive light again and i know now that of i have to defend myself or someone i love that i have to strike hard, strike fast and leave fast. Thank you LVMPD DAC especially the two black sergeants who let a black woman almost beat my DISABLED MOM for no reason to death go. Yall are the finest cowards out there

The one good thing I can say about LVPD is they are real people dealing with real problems. Now if the department used this clip for recruiting they would have plenty of new officers

Having worked at the Sands H/C on the Vegas Strip and the employee dining room was excellent. If you were gaming or mgmt there was an even better dining room. A friend was F&B Asst. Mgr at the DI, comps flowed big time
