The problem is if someone watched this video and knows what you are doing they could face another direction while being combo'ed

Yknow the thing is both variants can be inconsistent, especially more with the foul ball projectile, so do choose when to use either the projectile or the variant as the variant has a higher chance of extending with beatdown than the other harder extend. So in short, use projectile variant if ur skilled enough to hit it consistently, and grab variant if ur not.

You know, foul move projectile is really good if used correctly, but since this vid shows it, most of the people tried it (i havent yet but from that experience it would be good if you are fast enough) but i personally like the projectile like waht u said, to me I am too passive to fight cuz I suck, at aggresiveness and mostly too dumm to aware my opponent, and I can't adapt the situation due to uh mental problems but yeah, this vid shows how moves are used depends on what playstyle u r.

I love this! Helped me alot too. I wish you can post an Atomic Samurai Tutorial? Or the pinpoint cut air variant tech?? Please?

Air variant of grand slam is intentional? I thought it was just occasional hitbox bugs and it triggered early mid air?

My combo is 3 m1s, 2nd move, 1st move, 4 m1s (3x), then 2nd move, and the finishing blow, 1st move.
Also tip: while doing the 2nd n 1st move, dash after 2nd n 1st move.

I also have a trick, idk if it claimed yet but i found it weeks ago. The trick is when you uppercut, quickly rolls back and grandslam and continue m1 comboing.

What I like to do is 4 M1s up close, then use Foul Ball, and twist my camera around while in the trajectory so that when the rubble comes out of the ground, it's aiming at the head of the enemy

POV: when you combo extend with foul ball but the next move in your combo is the foul ball variant:

The move is combo extender and a starter. Even tho the damage is very low, you can use beatdown afterwards. I've said this many times: Metal bat is logically the best character yet balanced.

1:40 if You feel useless remember that metal bat's downslam exist

i have tips for you for one shot combo first do the foul ball trick and do front dash, if someone block, front dash to back him and do you combo

Fun fact: use beatdown when you use the foul grab variant so its nearly unblockable (move forward first)

Also try uppercutting before beat down when you know they have evasive. Just catch them with beat down if they evasive.

I never knew the projectile do more then grab but i use the projectil everytime anyways reanson it easier to extend with

FYI: The grab variant now does 14 damage compare to the projectile's 15 damage.

it works better if you use 4 m1s and use foul ball and turn your camera mid air. You can front dash after that to deal more damage

Second variant is usually used because the distance is controlled, a lot more
