30 years ago, everybody had a classmate who would ate Elmer's glue. Good thing it was non-toxic.

As someone who owns several Jersey bulls, I approve of Elmer as the mascot

I've used Elmer's since the early 60's in elementary school to now where I used some yesterday in the construction of radio controlled aircraft. For my purposes it's the Best.

It's Kay'-sin, not cass-een'. Sheesh. Oh, I now noticed that you pronounced it right close to the end. It's one of the two proteins found in milk, the other being whey.

I have re-discovered Elmer's I'm using it more and more instead of high tech ($$$) adhesives. Great for old shoes that have the soles separating from the uppers

My dad used something called Duco cement. Terrible stuff, solvent based, very weak bonds.

Q: Who Invented Elmer's Glue?
A: Elmer. Elmer Fudd. He's a millionaire. He owns a mansion and a yacht. And the formula for this glue...

Too bad there is no Borden company that’s actually related directly to the company of old. Elmers Glue is now owned by Newell, same company that owns Rubbermaid.

I thought that originally Elmers Glue was a branded product of Bordens, the company that was big in the dairy industry.
