DIY Arm knitting- Infinity Scarf Cowl- BEST TUTORIAL!

There are a ton of arm knitting tutorials out there already. But so many of my followers still continue to request this from me. So, I put together the Crafty Gemini arm knitting tutorial. If you have struggled to learn how to make this cowl from other tutorials I hope my video will clear that all up for you. I am very thorough in my explanations and try to break everything down step-by-step while including the camera view from the same angle that you would be looking at the yarn from while making this.

Arm knitting is super quick and easy. It's fun and since all you need is your hands and some yarn you can pretty much do this anywhere. You can customize the length and width of your infinity scarf or cowl any way you want once you have the basics down.

I hope you'll give arm knitting a try using my tutorial and once you make one scarf or cowl you will start cranking them out by the dozens!

If you enjoy this tutorial leave me a comment below and let me know. I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for watching!

Out of all the arm knitting videos that I've watched, this is the only one that I truly understood because it was explained in a step by step manner. Thank you so much!

I gotta say that I watched 4 videos on arm knitting and I just couldn't get it in my brain how it worked. I was so frustrated and ready to give up and I happened upon this video. Thank God! Your instructions were sooo easy to follow and it made perfect sense! (I think that other people were just over complicating it). Anyhoo, after watching your video, I busted out 2 of these in less than 2 hours! I'm pretty sure that the next ones I make will take even LESS time! Thank you sooo much for keeping it simple!

I am 72 and did know this kind of craft existed. I am so amazed how lovely these are. I am on a fixed limited income so I have never tried the yarns you used. They are beautiful. You are amazing. Looking forward to watching more of your videos Thanks so

This is the first tutorial (out of many) that I haven't wanted to turn off in the first 20 seconds. Seems everyone else just likes the sound of their voice and the sound "ummmm". THANK YOU for being straight to the point and interesting to watch! It's obvious you're a great instructor!

I have to personally thank you because my daughter and I have been through a lot since Aug 30. I lost my job of 13 years with no reason, I lost my 21 year old daughter, cannot find a job right now, and then we get hit by a car. Our lives have been flipped upside down! We have been affected Physically, Emotionally and Mentally.. We found our Peace. In yarn.. I watched multiple videos and I could not figure out how to arm knit UNTIL I saw your video. When you slowed everything down I FINALLY got it!!!! I watched it over and over and I can happily tell you that I have made 2 scarves already and I am HOOKED!!!! You helped us find our PEACE and we THANK YOU!!!! Signed, , , Amy & Aliyah.. 2 New Fans

THIS is the BEST tutorial for arm knitting a scarf!!! I have watched and rewatched many videos (via my Printerest Feed) and I just couldn't get the hang of it. I searched YOUTUBE and BAM - I found you! Thank you so much for making this tutorial and the special slow mo, attention to finger placement (I like the pincher position and sling shot references!) You are awesome!! Thank you again so much!

Hi ! I looked at many arm knit videos, I have to say I was so impressed with your tutorial ! You are clear and precise, and I love the slow motion, detailed instructions. I am currently in recovery from a hip replacement and I am not a "still person" being winter on top of that, I have been going a little stir crazy. I decided that I wanted to try to do this cowl, I had some chunky yarn and thought I could make it work. I told a few of my friends and we decided to make it a party!! Some white chicken chili, mini ham sliders, a cheese board, and of course wine and chocolate. The four of us sat around the living room ( We have fire stick, so your video played on the big screen TV, which was GREAT!! ) We were able to pause, back up and move through the video as we needed to get each technique. We had such a great time and each of us created a unique and fun cowl. Three of us, casted on 12 stitches, one went with the six as in the video. I dropped a stitch and had to go back once, Carey had issues with a tangled yarn, and Robin who was our six stitcher, completely redid to make her stitches tighter, while we casted on our other six. In the end we all have something beautiful chocked full of great memories. Thank you for such a great video. We are planning to do this again in a few weeks to make a Valentines assortment of cowls!! Be Blessed!!

Hands down one of the best arm knitting scarf tutorials on here.. and I been watching them off and on all day ! I know it's very easy and I know I'll ace it but I was a little confused on how to cast on and also how to make it wide or narrow and how to make it long.. you've cleared all of the confusion up for me and so now I know exactly how I wanna do it ! Thanks so much !

This video was correctly named "BEST TUTORIAL". You did it again! You provided an easy to follow video that anyone can use. Thanks, and even though I can't keep up with you because I want to make everything you offer, keep doing what you do.
