My son and I are going through some version of this now. I grew up in Mass and have been to Fenway many times. By the time the kids were born, work took us to the midwest and my promise to take my son to Fenway turned into, "when I retire, we can go to several games". Of course, earlier this year I am diagnosed with terminal cancer so the thought of having so much time goes out the window. I have always had a wonderful relationship with my son so this would just be the cherry on top. I am trying to muster the energy to go next month. The TL;DR version is Go NOW!!!!

This might be a must see. Helped take care of my dad alongside my sister when he had lung cancer. I am grateful for that time. It was really hard. Not sure I got the conversations I desired, sharing how he was feeling about so many things. But he never really complained. Of course he wasn’t the perfect patient but good god he must’ve kept a lot of it close to the chest. He was stir crazy more than anything. That was a hard lesson that I won’t soon forget. Hopefully this movie helps people find solace. RIP Larry Harris 5/7/49-12/16/22 ❤

I've been dying of chronic leukemia for 20 years (recently had a stem cell transplant - fingers crossed) and lived the best years of my life during that time. I never expected to live this long so I tried to live everyday as if it was my last. I also found that nothing scared me anymore except leaving my family. I worked for 18 of those years and I was fearless at my job. I was promoted to a director of my company a few years before I went on disability. I wore out my dog Sophie during that period with hikes to every beach and mountain range in Washington State. I visited Kauai almost every year for vacation because it was the place the changed my life when I was 22. Last but not least, I attended (and paid for) both my daughters weddings and made sure my wife was financially secure without having to create a meth empire. (much thanks to MD Anderson, Swedish and Fred Hutch for keeping me breathing!)

Couple of minutes in and I'm already hooked by the amount of Californication references in this. There's Hank, Runkle, Marcy. The character played by Duchovny is writing a novel. That's it. Won't spoil it no more.

I like Logan Marshall Green and wish he was in more stuff.
Was really sad when his depression era western show Damnation on USA was cancelled after the 1st season.
They should have at least done a season 2.

I think this will be great movie A little over the top with the sentimentality but it works for me! I don't know that much about baseball history can someone tell me what decade this movie takes place in? Cause for me it's hard to tell with their styles of hair clothing et cetera
