How to choose a career path between so many options? Which one is the best thing to do after 12th standard?

Most parents see education as an investment to pay off later in life rather than a road to independence where child explores the world. They want their to settle down follow same or similar trajectories like everyone else, end up taking care of them in old age(which is fine ) and go on the ROAD MORE TAKEN .

Most of the parents are more conservative when it comes to studies. They are like do your studies only these 2 years and you will get at good University. They are afraid when their child is doing something different that can change the world. I think mentality of our parents have to change, they have to be more supportive during their child is doing something interesting not after the getting the results of that.
