You're right. Chickens are pretty easy and coops and runs don't have to cost hundreds. Our coop and run we used recycled stuff we had laying around. Our cost was the wire and staples.

I need to recruit a neighbor for my evil scheme. When the HOA sends me a notice that I have 30 days to remove the chickens, I'll move them a few doors down on day 29. When they get their notice, back to me on day 29. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. We'll just have twice as many chickens to account for sharing the eggs two ways.

I have a German Shepard that I’m afraid will get my chickens if I free range. So I think I’m going with a bigger run and throw in all my kitchen scraps and yard waste (except dog poop lol)
