Continuing Education for NURSE PRACTITIONERS | Recertification Tips
Hey guys!!! In this video, I give tips for recertifying as a nurse practitioner. There are two certifying boards that certify nurse practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Both have their own set of renewal requirements and I summarized it here for you. Also, I announced my new course, THE DIABETES MED BOOTCAMP!!! This course comes with over 3 hours of AANP approved continuing education (contact and pharm hours) and presents the "Need to Know Info" over the anti-diabetic med classes. I cover each drug class and to learn more, click the link below:

Welcome to Kim E. The Diabetes NP Channel!!! My name is Kim E. and I have a love and passion for prediabetes and Diabetes Mellitus Type 2. I went on a journey a while ago to build upon my knowledge of the disease and found it difficult to find concise and useful information. I realized at that moment that we, as nurse practitioners, needed a resource like this. As I began learning more about the disease and the new advances in education and management, I wanted to be apart of the solution for my fellow colleagues. If this is something that interests you, please come along with me as we grow in our knowledge of Diabetes to better serve our patients.
