Curious - I’m trying to figure out a way to get my bulbs to multiply FAST before ground freezes. (So I have more to plant lol). Didn’t know if maybe doing this would be a quicker option. I’m in western IL which is 6a and pretty harsh winter.

As lame as all that sounds, my reason is that I didn’t realize they need to be planted so close together. But also, can’t afford to go buy more bulbs right now. Sooo I’m digging in YT to see what I can find 😊

Hyacinths don't need refrigerator chilling. Mine sit in 60 degrees in the dark in their water vases for about 2 months and then boom!, blooms!
