The worst thing referees can do is change the rules of the game mid-game. The officials define what is and is not a foul, what is and is not traveling, etc… in the early minutes of the game.l and the players adjust accordingly. To alter the rules of the game without notifying both head coaches is unacceptable!!!! If they screwed up by letting too much go early and feel they need to correct their error, then fine, but they have to notify both coaches of their intentions before they change the rules of the game on Bad officials destroy the game, like these officials did tonight. The officiating is the biggest story to come out of this game tonight and that is totally unacceptable. It’s supposed to be about the young athletes on the floor, but these officials took the game away from them and made the story about themselves tonight. I hope tomorrow’s headline is about these officials being fired!!! They have no business ruining any more games for all of these young hard working and talented athletes!!! Shame on

The refs were inconsistent (at best) - and yes - the players got away with a ton of fouls (euphemistically called "physical play"). That said - who would want to have Ref'd this game?
